State League Membership (Join or Renew)

First, are you located near one of our local chapters? As a grassroots organization, LWV of Louisiana strongly encourages member to join our Caddo-Bossier, Iberia, Lafayette, New Orleans, St. Tammany, and Tangipahoa chapters. But if we are not nearby, you are welcome to join the state league as a Member at Large through this portal

Membership in the state league as a Member at Large is open to men and women 18 years or older. Annual dues are $48.00 per person, $72.00 for two people in the same household and are valid for one year if made by December 31, 2024. Dues are not tax-deductible.

In 2025, LWV chapters throughout the U.S. will be moving to a common suggested annual individual dues membership payment of $75 per individual member. There will also be a “pay what you can” option with a minimum payment of $20 per individual for those for whom $75 dues are a hardship. We welcome members of every age, economic ability, and region of the state to join our effort. And if you join by the end of 2024, you get a discount on your dues for the first year by joining at the $48 Member at Large rate!
